LIGHTS IN THE SKY
Mystery still surrounds the orange glow which occasionally lights up the sky of deffry Vale.
Many residents of Deffry Vale have been surprised by the "unearthly glow", which has been sighted as far away as Deffry Park. People have even started gathering to look out for the display.
Some people have claimed that the glow is caused by malfunctioning new street lamps on West Ham Road. Council official Shaun Kirby was swift to deny this, "We've had a lot of complaints about the new lights on West Ham Road, but we've checked them out extensively. I think we'll just have to accept that Deffry Vale has our own aurora borealis.’
