SCIENCE TEACHER WINS LOTTERY
Victoria Mehru, 42, says she can’t believe it after winning just over £11million on the National Lottery. Mrs Mehru, a teacher at Deffry Vale School for three years, has said she will share the cash with friends and family.
Local residents have been flocking to the corner shop on Tarrant Road where the winning ticket was purchased.
‘Who knows?’ said manager, Martin Chen, ‘Maybe lightening will strike twice?’
